Our Missionaries to Mexico!

Missionaries to Mexico

Both Marty and I were raised in Christian homes. I was saved at the age of six and Marty at the age of seven. God called me to the field of Mexico at the age of sixteen while on a Mission trip to Mexico. I met my wife while in Bible college and she was in college to be a nurse. She graduated as an R.N. and I graduated with a B.A. and later finished my M.A. We moved to Mexico in December, 1984 and spent the year of 1985 in language school in Queretaro, Mexico. The year of 1986 was spent working with another veteran Missionary in Chihuahua, Mexico. In 1987 we moved to the small mountain city of Guerrero, Chihuahua, Mexico, where we began the ministry of church planting. Through the ministry we established, there has been 5 churches started and another one to be started this summer.

We left that area in August, 2002. Everything is now in the hands of the nationals. In June, 2003, we will relocate to the city of Los Mochis, Sinaloa. This is a large city on the pacific coast of Mexico. There is not a single Independent Baptist Church there at this time, and we plan to start one upon arrival.
