Ken and Audrey Beal

Missionaries to Japan

Missionary Ken Beal was saved at the age of twelve and called to the ministry when he was nineteen. After graduating from Bible College he served three years in the United States Army. Ken and Audrey were married in 1975 after Ken was discharged from the service. Audrey was saved when she was twenty years old and attended Bible College where she met Ken.

From 1977 to 1982 the Beals pastured in Massachusetts and then were approved as missionaries in 1982. After deputation they arrived in Japan in 1984. Language school and the work with a national church kept them very busy their first term. In 1988 they returned for their second term and started a church in Hokkaido. This church has been their focal point to reach this area and establish a strong base in this most difficult field. The church is self sufficient and a strong testimony for Christ. Much work has gone into the ministry in Japan
